Super Falcons head coach Justine Madugu says his team is fully prepared for their quarter-final showdown against Zambia at the ongoing 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
Madugu emphasized the importance of discipline and focus, warning that any lapses could prove costly against a strong Zambian side.
“There will be no room for errors. We must be alert at all times and have self-belief and confidence, and be motivated to achieve victory as we get close to the accomplishment of Mission X,” Madugu told thenff.com.
The Super Falcons will face the Copper Queens on Friday at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca.
The fixture will mark only the second-ever WAFCON meeting between both nations, with Zambia edging Nigeria 1-0 in their previous encounter at the 2022 tournament.
The winner of Friday’s clash will go on to face either defending champions South Africa or Senegal in the semi-finals.
