UCL: PSG win first ever Champions League title after Inter annihilation

Paris St-Germain delivered an inspiring display as they delivered a masterclass to thrash Inter Milan in Munich and win the Champions League for the first time in their history.

Luis Enrique’s side ended a brilliant season by winning the Champions League or European Cup final with the biggest margin, and they did it by sweeping Inter aside with a beautiful attacking brand of football.

Desire Doue helped PSG on their way to history by finding Achraf Hakimi in the box for a simple tap-in after 12 minutes, before adding the second eight minutes later with a shot that went in via a deflection off Inter defender Federico Dimarco.

PSG’s third of the night came wben Ousmane Dembele’s flick freed Vitinha, who played in Doue for a composed finish as he became, at 19 years and 362 days, only the third teenager to score in a Champions League final, after Patrick Kluivert for Ajax in 1995 and Carlos Alberto for Porto in 2004.

PSG were outclassing Inter in devastating style, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia running clear to beat Yann Sommer, sending Luis Enrique running down the touchline in joyous fashion.

Inter, who lost the 2023 final to Manchester City, looked clueless, as another goal from substitute Senny Mayulu, 19 score a fifth goal for the French side, to become the fourth teenager to score in a Champions League final.

More history for PSG Spanish Manager, Luis Enrique, who becomes only the sixth coach to win this tournament with two different clubs after his 2015 triumph with ten years ago with Barcelona, after seeing his thrilling team tear Inter Milan apart.
