These football greats will take to the pitch not just for the love of the game, but to raise funds for scholarships, equipment donations, and long-term development programs facilitated by the Troost-Ekong Foundation.

Founded in 2024 by Super Eagles vice-captain William Troost-Ekong, the foundation is building a sustainable football academy in Nigeria aimed at unlocking the potential of young talents—on and off the pitch.

Troost-Ekong, widely known as “The Hybrid General”, continues to use his platform to inspire and create meaningful change. His foundation champions a future where sport serves as a bridge to opportunity, especially for children from underserved communities.
The Lagos charity match is expected to draw massive attention, blending entertainment, elite football, and a powerful message of hope and unity.
