Super Falcons Drop One Spot in Latest FIFA Women’s Ranking

Nigeria’s Super Falcons have slipped one place in the latest FIFA women’s rankings released on Thursday, moving from 36th to 37th.

The drop comes after the team’s inactivity during the most recent FIFA international break, which affected their standing in the monthly global list.

Despite the slight decline, Justine Madugu’s team retained their position as the highest-ranked women’s national side in Africa.

South Africa, Ghana, Zambia, and Morocco follow to complete Africa’s top five.

On the global stage, Spain remain the number one ranked team, with the United States, Germany, England, and Sweden rounding out the top five.
