The Super Falcons of Nigeria have returned to Abuja following their triumphant campaign at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Players and officials of the team touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Monday afternoon to a rousing reception.
A trophy parade is scheduled to take place across major parts of the Federal Capital Territory, with the celebratory convoy set to move through Airport Road, Berger Junction, Maitama, and Wuse Market.
Later today, the team will be hosted by President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in recognition of their remarkable achievement.
