The Super Eagles will begin their preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations next month with a training camp in Egypt.
According to SCORENigeria, the camp will officially open on Wednesday, December 10, as the three-time African champions step up their build-up to the continental tournament.
Nigeria will also take on the Pharaohs of Egypt in a friendly match four days after camp opens — a key test designed to sharpen the squad before they fly to Morocco for AFCON 2025.
Head coach Éric Chelle is expected to submit his final squad list for the tournament on December 11.
The Super Eagles are placed in Group C alongside Tanzania, Tunisia, and Uganda. Their opening match is scheduled for Tuesday, December 23, against the Taifa Stars of Tanzania as they begin their quest for a fourth continental title.
