Salah’s Liverpool Future in Doubt as Club Debates His Exclusion for Inter Clash

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah’s involvement in Tuesday’s Champions League showdown against Inter Milan is now uncertain, with the club holding internal discussions following his explosive comments earlier in the week.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported on Monday that Salah could be left out of the travelling squad for the crucial fixture in Italy.

According to him, “Mo Salah could be out of the Liverpool squad set to travel to Italy to face Inter on Tuesday. Internal discussions are taking place after Salah’s strong words, with a final verdict to follow today. Arne Slot will speak to the press later today.”

Liverpool manager Arne Slot is scheduled to address the media this afternoon, where he is expected to clarify the situation and confirm whether Salah will make the trip.

Until now, the Dutchman has maintained silence, with the club carefully navigating what has become a sensitive issue involving one of its biggest stars.

Liverpool are set to depart for Italy later today ahead of the clash at the San Siro, but uncertainty surrounds Salah’s inclusion in the travelling party.

It was reported that the Egyptian expressed frustration over his reduced playing time, alleging that someone within the club was attempting to place blame on him for recent setbacks.

Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy also criticised Salah’s public outburst, warning that such comments could destabilise the dressing room and increase pressure on Slot as he tries to stamp his authority on the squad.

As the Reds prepare for a pivotal European night, all eyes are on whether Salah will be part of the squad — or whether his future at the club has reached a turning point.
