Ronaldo named as part of Portugal squad for Nations League semi-finals

Portugal national team have officially announced their squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches, with captain, Cristiano Ronaldo once again earning a spot in the squad.

The squad, released on Tuesday on X (formerly Twitter), features a mix of experienced players and emerging talents.

Goalkeepers Diogo Costa, José Sá, and Rui Silva headline the selection between the posts, while the defence includes names such as António Silva, Diogo Dalot, Gonçalo Inácio, Nélson Semedo, Nuno Mendes, Nuno Tavares, Renato Veiga, and Rúben Dias.

In midfield, Portugal boasts depth and creativity with João Neves, João Palhinha, Pedro Gonçalves, Rúben Neves, Vitinha, Bernardo Silva, Bruno Fernandes, and João Félix all earning call-ups.

Up front, Cristiano Ronaldo will be joined by a dynamic attacking line-up including Diogo Jota, Francisco Conceição, Francisco Trincão, Gonçalo Ramos, Pedro Neto, Rafael Leão, and Rodrigo Mora.

Portugal will face Germany in the semi-finals of the UEFA Nations League on June 4, 2025.
