Holders Remo Stars will begin their defence of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title with a mouthwatering clash against Rivers United.
The official draw for the 2025/26 NPFL season was conducted in Abuja on Monday, setting the stage for an exciting new campaign.
Remo Stars secured their first-ever league title last season and will look to build on that success when the new season kicks off on Friday, August 22.
Elsewhere, record champions Enyimba FC will travel to face league newcomers Barau FC, while the standout fixture of matchday one sees Abia Warriors square off against Kano Pillars.
The first Oriental derby of the season will pit eight-time champions Rangers FC against Kun Khalifa FC.
