In-form forward Victor Osimhen scored a hat-trick as Galatasaray secured an important 4-0 win against Antalyaspor on Friday night.
Osimhen opened the scoring at the Rams Park, converting an assist from Morata in the 30th minute. Morata then doubled the lead with a penalty in the 45th minute and three minutes into the injury time of the first half, Osimhen struck again, assisted by B. Yılmaz.
The Nigerian striker completed his hat-trick, with Y. Akgün claiming the assist in the 52nd minute.The hat trick now takes Osimhen’s season tally to 20 league goals in 22 appearances, making him the outright top scorer in the Turkish Süper Lig.
Since joining Galatasaray on loan from Napoli after during the January transfer window, Osimhen has scored a massive 26 goals and laid on 5 assists across all competitions in 30 appearances.With this victory, Galatasaray extends their lead to 71 points, bolstering their pursuit of the league title.
The next point of call for Victor Osimhen will be for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, where he will be expected in camp as soon as the camp opens on the 16th of March, just as Nigeria prepares for the all-important clashes again Rwanda and Zimbabwe on the 21st of March and 25th of March respectively.
