Anas Yusuf of Nasarawa United will receive the coveted Eunisell Boot Award from Eunisell, the top specialty chemicals and oilfield solutions company in West Africa, for finishing first with 18 goals in the 2024–25 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
A N3.6 million cash prize, or N200,000 per goal, which is a defining feature of the Eunisell Boot’s reward system, will be given to Yusuf at the award ceremony on Friday at the Radisson Blu Hotel, GRA Ikeja, Lagos.
In its seventh year, the Eunisell Boot has emerged as one of Nigerian football’s most sought-after honors, highlighting the league’s best strikers and bolstering corporate backing for homegrown talent.

Yusuf became the second Nasarawa United player to win the Eunisell Boot after Sunusi Ibrahim (2019) as a result of his outstanding performance, which also brought him national recognition. Throughout the season, both fans and analysts have praised his clinical finishing and consistency.
Some of the NPFL’s most successful forwards have been honored by the Eunisell Boot since its inception in 2018. These include Israel Abia (2020 – Rangers), Sunusi Ibrahim and Mfon Udoh (2019 – Nasarawa United and Enyimba), Junior Lokosa (2018 – Kano Pillars), and Chijioke Akuneto (2022 – Rivers United).
This year’s event is noteworthy because it commemorates Eunisell’s ten years of devoted support for Nigerian football. As part of its larger commitment to developing domestic talent and advancing the sport from amateur to professional levels, the company is also a major sponsor of Abia Warriors FC in addition to the boot award.
