The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced the indefinite postponement of the matchday 13 fixture between Enyimba and Sunshine Stars, according to media reports.
Originally scheduled for Sunday, December 1, 2024, the match has been delayed due to Enyimba’s participation in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The NPFL’s announcement was made through a statement issued by its Chief Operating Officer, Davidson Owumi, on Thursday.
Additionally, reports indicate that the match between Enyimba and Kano Pillars, set for this weekend, has also been postponed indefinitely.
The statement reads: “Kindly be informed that the matchday 13 and 14 fixtures have been postponed due to Enyimba’s involvement in CAF Confederation Cup.
“Please, new dates will be communicated to affected teams and match officials accordingly.”
Enyimba is scheduled to face the Egyptian team Al Masry in a Group D match of the CAF Confederation Cup this weekend.
