The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed the appointment of Manu Garba as the new head coach of the Golden Eaglets, Nigeria’s U-17 men’s national team.
Garba’s return was approved following a recommendation from the NFF Technical Committee. The experienced coach previously led the Golden Eaglets to victory at the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup and is widely respected for his success in youth football development.
In a related move, the NFF has also named Moses Aduku as the new head coach of the Falconets, Nigeria’s U-20 women’s team. Aduku replaces Chris Danjuma, who previously held the role.
Aduku brings strong credentials to the job, having guided Bayelsa Queens to the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) title last season. His leadership at the club level has earned him praise for tactical acumen and player development.
Both coaches are expected to officially resume duties on Sunday as their respective teams prepare for important upcoming fixtures.
