Mikel Arteta during his press conference earlier today, has declared Bukayo Saka “ready to go” for Arsenal after three months on the sideline with a hamstring injury.
Bukayo Saka, 23 is yet to feature for Arsenal since their 5-1 win at Crystal Palace on 21st December 2024. He has also scored nine (9) goals and contributed thirteen assists in twenty four appearances in all competitions.
“Bukayo is ready to go,” Arteta said during the press conference of their game against Fulham on Tuesday.
“All the careful things are already done so now it’s about putting him on the grass in the right moments. But he’s pushing because he really wants to. “We have respected the timeframe and we have done everything and we had to hold him back, even. He is ready to go.”
The return of Saka is a big boost for Arsenal, who have been short of firepower in recent weeks before the international break, with Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus out of action with long-term injuries.
Arsenal are second in the Premier League, 12 points behind Liverpool with just nine games to go.
But they are through to the Champions League quarter-finals and host Real Madrid in the first leg of their tie on April 8.
