AC Milan and Manchester City have reached an agreement for the transfer of Netherlands midfielder,Tijjani Reijnders for the sum of 55m Euros (£46.3 million).
After reaching an agreement with City on personal terms, the 26-year-old will sign a five-year contract at Etihad Stadium.
There are extra payments included in the arrangement if specific conditions are fulfilled, however it is subject to a medical.
With the Club World Cup starting on June 14, City hopes to finalize a deal for Reijnders in time.
After undergoing Achilles surgery, Mateo Kovacic was unable to play in the 32-team competition in the United States, thus his entrance will bolster a weak spot on the field.
Also not anticipated to participate in the competition is midfielder Kevin de Bruyne, whose transfer to Serie A winners Napoli is becoming more and more likely.
