Liverpool FC have finalized the signing of Eintracht Frankfurt forward Hugo Ekitike, with the deal now subject to international clearance.
The 23-year-old has successfully completed his medical and agreed personal terms with the club. He is expected to join his new teammates later this week on their pre-season tour of Asia, flying out to Hong Kong.
Ekitike joins the Reds after spending a season-and-a-half in Germany, where he made a strong impression at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Originally arriving on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, he went on to score 26 goals in 64 appearances and earned a place in the 2024–25 Bundesliga Team of the Season.
The France U21 international began his professional career at Stade de Reims before joining PSG, where he made 33 appearances and won a Ligue 1 title.
Ekitike becomes the latest addition to manager Arne Slot’s squad this summer, joining recent signings Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez, Giorgi Mamardashvili, and Florian Wirtz.
His official squad number will be announced later in the summer.
