Kwara United have resumed preparations for the upcoming 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) campaign.
The Harmony Boys returned to training on Monday at the Rashidi Yekini Mainbowl, George Innih Stadium in Ilorin, following a brief break after their triumph in the 2025 President Federation Cup.
The session was overseen by the club’s technical adviser, Tunde Sanni, as the team begins early groundwork for the new season.
As part of their build-up, Kwara United will face non-league side Blimz FC in a friendly match today (Tuesday) in Ilorin.
The Ilorin-based side will also represent Nigeria in the CAF Confederation Cup next season, adding continental competition to their schedule.
The 2025/26 NPFL season is scheduled to kick off on Friday, August 22.
