Guardiola Shuts Down Talk of Barcelona Return: “It’s Over Forever”

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has firmly ruled out any possibility of returning to Barcelona in a managerial role.

The Spaniard, who rose through the ranks of Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy, made 382 appearances for the club as a player, winning six La Liga titles and lifting the European Cup.

He later returned as manager in 2008 and led a golden era at the Nou Camp, working with legends like Lionel Messi, Xavi, and Andres Iniesta.

Under his guidance, Barça secured three La Liga titles and two UEFA Champions League crowns before his departure in 2012 after 247 games in charge.

Speaking to GQ, Guardiola ended all speculation about a potential comeback.

“It’s over. It’s over forever. It was very beautiful, but it’s over now,” he said.

When asked about the possibility of running for the club’s presidency, he responded bluntly: “Noooo! I’m no good at this.”
