Cristiano Ronaldo Welcomes Jorge Jesus as New Al-Nassr Manage

Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his excitement over the appointment of Jorge Jesus as the club’s new manager.

The Portuguese tactician becomes the second coach from Ronaldo’s home country to manage the Saudi Pro League side, following Luis Castro, who led the team throughout the 2023/24 season.

Jorge Jesus replaces Italian coach Stefano Pioli, who has returned to Serie A to take charge of Fiorentina after a brief stint in Saudi Arabia.

Jesus, 70, previously managed Al-Nassr’s arch-rivals Al-Hilal, where he enjoyed a successful spell, winning the Saudi Pro League, King’s Cup, and two Saudi Super Cups.

The veteran coach has signed a one-year contract with Al-Nassr, reportedly with Ronaldo’s approval playing a key role in the decision.

Reacting to the news, Ronaldo posted a brief but warm “welcome” message on his social media, signaling his support for the new appointment.
