Super Eagles defender Chidozie Awaziem has completed a move to Ligue 1 side FC Nantes from Major League Soccer outfit Colorado Rapids.
The 27-year-old signed a three-year contract with the Canaries, marking a return to familiar ground after a previous loan spell at the club during the 2017/18 season. During that stint, Awaziem made 23 appearances and scored once.
A versatile and experienced defender, Awaziem has featured across several leagues, having played in Spain, Turkey, Croatia, and the United States.
His move to Nantes adds depth and experience to the French club’s defensive options ahead of the new season
