Barcelona have confirmed the signing of highly rated right winger Roony Bardghji from FC Copenhagen, securing the youngster on a four-year deal until June 30, 2029.
While the club did not disclose the transfer fee, Spanish media report the deal to be worth approximately €2.5 million ($3 million).
The 19-year-old Swedish U21 international made 84 appearances for Copenhagen, scoring 15 goals since breaking into the first team during the 2021/2022 season. His progress was halted by a serious knee injury in May 2024, which sidelined him for nearly a year before he returned to action in March 2025.
Bardghji becomes Barcelona’s second signing of the summer following the arrival of goalkeeper Joan Garcia from city rivals Espanyol.
He is expected to join the team for pre-season preparations, where new head coach Hansi Flick will assess whether he is ready to be integrated into the first-team squad for the upcoming campaign.
