Taiwo Awoniyi has been recognized for his exceptional contribution to community development with the Professional Footballers’ Association Community Champion award for the 2024–2025 season.
Throughout the campaign, the Nigerian forward, who plays for Nottingham Forest, was recognized for his steadfast dedication to helping out local communities.
In a statement on Tuesday via X, Nottingham Forest said, “Taiwo Awoniyi has been named our PFA Community Champion for the 2024/25 season in recognition of his outstanding dedication to supporting local communities throughout the year.”
The award is given annually to players who go above and beyond in their efforts to make a positive impact off the pitch.
