Newly appointed Shooting Stars technical adviser, Nurudeen Aweroro, has described his role at the club as a privilege.
Aweroro takes over from veteran coach Gbenga Ogunbote, who was relieved of his duties last week.
The young tactician has pledged to justify the club management’s decision and earn the trust of the fans.
“My backroom staff and I will give our best to the team, and I promise the supporters that they will never regret this decision,” Aweroro told the club’s media.
“We are going to be business partners with the players. I want them to feel comfortable and confident knowing they are working with the best coach.”
Aweroro has already resumed training with the team as preparations for the 2025/26 NPFL season gather momentum.
