34 Countries Now Confirmed for the 2026 FIFA World Cup

At least 34 countries have now officially secured their spots at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, following the latest round of qualifiers on Monday night.

Germany and the Netherlands became the newest nations to book their tickets to next year’s expanded tournament.

Germany sealed qualification in emphatic fashion, thrashing Slovakia 6-0 at the Red Bull Arena. The Netherlands followed suit shortly after with a dominant 4-0 victory over Lithuania, confirming their participation as well.

The 2026 edition, which will feature 48 teams for the first time, continues to take shape as more nations secure their places.
