Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has been named the Premier League Manager of the Month for October, marking his first time winning the accolade since taking charge at Old Trafford in November 2024.

Amorim guided United to a perfect month in the league, securing three consecutive wins to ease early-season pressure following a slow start to the campaign.

The Red Devils began October with a victory over Sunderland, followed by a memorable win at Anfield — their first triumph away to Liverpool since January 2016 — before rounding off the month with a 4–2 win against Brighton.

“The credit is not mine; the credit is for my players,” Amorim said after receiving the award. “They did really well, and our goal is to win the next one, because it means we’re winning football matches — and that’s always the target.”

It is the first time a Manchester United manager has won the monthly award since Erik ten Hag in November 2023.

Amorim’s side drew 1–1 with Nottingham Forest in their most recent outing on November 1, leaving them eighth in the Premier League table.

Meanwhile, United forward Bryan Mbeumo was named Premier League Player of the Month for October after registering three goals and one assist across the team’s three victories.
