AC Milan Cancel Boniface Transfer After Failed Medical

AC Milan have pulled the plug on their move for Nigerian striker Victor Boniface after the Bayer Leverkusen forward failed his medical tests.

The deal, structured as a €5 million loan with a €24 million buy option, collapsed despite Boniface’s arrival in Milan over the weekend.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the development on Sunday, stating “AC Milan call Victor Boniface deal off as Nigerian striker did not pass the medical tests.

Despite verbal agreement for €5m loan fee and €24m buy clause with player in Milano in the last 48h, deal called off due to medical. Boniface, returning in Germany today.”

The 24-year-old, who has undergone two anterior cruciate ligament surgeries in the past, has also struggled with recurring groin problems, raising concerns about his long-term fitness and availability.

Boniface will now return to Germany, where he is expected to continue with Bayer Leverkusen ahead of the new season.
