Zambian Super League giants Zesco United have completed the signing of Nigerian goalkeeper Victor Sochima on a two-year deal.
The 26-year-old joins the Ndola-based club from South Sudanese champions Jamus FC, where he enjoyed a successful spell, winning both the league and cup titles last season.
Sochima arrives as a direct replacement for Toaster Nsabata, who departed Zesco at the end of his contract.
The former Rivers United shot-stopper also had a stint in Tanzania with Tabora United before his move to South Sudan.
Zesco United will be banking on Sochima’s experience at both club and international level as they prepare for the new campaign.
