The Ballon d’Or has officially unveiled the 30-player shortlist for the 2025 Men’s Ballon d’Or, recognising the top male footballers who have delivered exceptional performances over the past season.
Leading the charge are elite stars Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland, Vinicius Jr., and Harry Kane — all of whom enjoyed remarkable campaigns at both club and international level.
Also featured on the prestigious list are seasoned names such as Mohamed Salah, Robert Lewandowski, and Virgil van Dijk, as well as exciting young talents like Lamine Yamal, Joao Neves, and Cole Palmer.

Other standout nominees include Alexis Mac Allister, Désiré Doué, Florian Wirtz, Declan Rice, and Achraf Hakimi — all recognised for their influence, consistency, and excellence throughout the year.
The Ballon d’Or remains the highest individual honour in world football, and the winner will be crowned at the annual awards ceremony later this year.
