Thomas Partey Granted Bail with Strict Conditions Ahead of September Court Date

Former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has been granted bail after appearing before the Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London on Tuesday, where he faces multiple serious charges.

As part of his bail conditions, Partey has been ordered not to contact any of the three women involved in the case.

He is also required to inform the police of any permanent changes to his address or any international travel.

Chief Magistrate Paul Goldspring, while addressing the court, appeared to confirm reports of Partey’s move to Spain, stating:
“I understand he’s no longer employed in this country and playing in Spain now.”

Partey, 32, is scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey on September 2. He is facing five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault, allegedly involving three different women.

The Ghanaian international officially left Arsenal at the end of June following the expiration of his contract.

The formal charges were brought against him just four days after his departure from the club.

The case is ongoing, and further developments are expected as the September court date approaches.
