Turkish champions Galatasaray are aiming to generate €21.5 million in revenue from the launch of a special fan box dedicated to Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, following his record €75 million permanent move from Napoli.

The Istanbul giants unveiled 100,000 units of the “Solo Il Gala Osimhen Box,” pricing each collector’s edition at €215. If all units are sold, the club stands to recoup nearly a third of the transfer fee through this single merchandise initiative.

Designed to celebrate Osimhen’s arrival and growing legacy at the club, the exclusive box contains a specially designed jersey, a rubber-like replica of his trademark protective mask emblazoned with Galatasaray’s five stars, and a themed scarf in the club’s iconic yellow and red colours.

“Fans will also have the opportunity to own a special scarf with yellow and red details, themed ‘Solo Il Gala,’” the club announced. Through a QR code on the jersey label, buyers will access exclusive digital content, messages from Osimhen, and multimedia documenting the significance of his transfer.

“This jersey in the box is not my jersey, it is all of ours,” Osimhen said in a personal message to fans. “Every time you wear it, remember our history, remember us.”

The club sees the initiative as more than just a marketing campaign. With Osimhen earning a reported €15 million annually, Galatasaray hope the merchandise strategy will significantly offset the costs of their marquee signing.

Club president Dursun Özbek praised supporters, calling them “our biggest investors,” and urged them to back the club both in the stadium and through merchandise. “Every Osimhen box purchased is a contribution to writing history,” he said at a press conference.

Galatasaray earned an estimated €85 million in shirt sales last season and is targeting a commercial revenue of €150 million for the current campaign — a figure that dwarfs the €18 million from domestic broadcast rights.

Osimhen, who scored 37 goals and registered eight assists in 41 appearances during a loan spell last season, was officially unveiled alongside new signing Leroy Sané in front of a packed stadium during a friendly against Lazio on Saturday evening.
