All is set for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen to travel to Istanbul on Wednesday ahead of a permanent move to Turkish champions Galatasaray.
The 27-year-old forward is scheduled to undergo medical tests on Thursday, with the transfer now in its final stages. Galatasaray have reportedly reached a full agreement with Napoli for the striker’s services.
Renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the development on Tuesday night, revealing that all legal documents between the two clubs have been signed.
“Victor Osimhen will land in Istanbul on Wednesday, all documents are counter-signed! Medical on Thursday for Osimhen, back to Galatasaray,” Romano posted on X.
Osimhen spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, where he impressed by scoring 37 goals in 41 appearances. His stellar performances prompted the club to push for a permanent transfer, and they are now close to finalizing the deal for the former CAF Player of the Year.
The Nigerian striker’s move is expected to be officially confirmed once he completes his medical assessment in Istanbul.
