Real Madrid has confirmed that Kylian Mbappé, their star forward, was admitted to the hospital due to severe gastroenteritis.
In an official medical statement released on Thursday via its website, the club said, “Our player Kylian Mbappé presents an acute case of gastroenteritis and has been hospitalised to undergo various tests and receive the appropriate treatment.”
As the team continues to monitor Mbappé’s condition, it is unclear how much of his upcoming games he will miss.
