Real Madrid captain, Luka Modric is set to become a minor owner of Championship side, Swansea City.
According to sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Croatian captain will become a member of the ownership group alongside the likes of Jason Cohen, Brett Cravatt, Nigel Morris and Andy Coleman,
Last November, the group acquired the stock of Steve Kaplan and Jason Levien, the previous majority owners.
The 2018 Ballon D’or Winner is also preparing for life after football but is currently still under contract at Real Madrid.
Modric, thought to be worth an astounding £56 million, has already reached an agreement to purchase stock in the Welsh team and will now be involved with the Championship team that reported a £15.2 million pre-tax loss in the most recent fiscal year.
