Manchester United and Manchester City played out a drab scoreless draw that further justified the need for change at both clubs this summer.
City forward, Omar Marmoush could not beat United goalkeeper, Andre Onana twice at Old Trafford as the Cameroonian goalkeeper stood tall twice on both occasions.
United also had their fair share of half-chances. However, as it has been the case for Ruben Amorim’s men this season, they couldn’t convert their chances into goals.
A draw ensures United are still in the middle of the lower half of the table but City are now left fighting for a spot in the Champions League, remaining in fifth – which should be enough to get them over the line – but with Newcastle two points behind them with two games in hand.
