Former Chelsea player Jason Cundy has advised manager Enzo Maresca to exclude Enzo Fernandez from the starting lineup for the upcoming match against Leicester City on Saturday.
Cundy advocates for the inclusion of midfielders Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo in the starting XI for the encounter with Leicester.
Nevertheless, he expressed that he would not be astonished if the Argentine midfielder were chosen over either Lavia or Caicedo.
During a discussion on talkSPORT, Cundy remarked:
“I personally wouldn’t start Enzo (against Leicester City).
“I would prefer to go with Lavia and Caicedo. However, it wouldn’t surprise me if he is selected.”
Chelsea currently occupies the third position in the Premier League standings, trailing behind Manchester City and Liverpool.
