he Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the nominees for the CAF Awards 2024, set to take place in December in Marrakech, Morocco.
A total of 10 players have been shortlisted for the prestigious CAF African Player of the Year and CAF Interclub Player of the Year awards. Notable nominees include Amine Gouiri, Edmond Tapsoba, Simon Adingra, and Achraf Hakimi.
The CAF Awards 2024 ceremony will also recognize the top-performing national teams and coaches from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. Additionally, the CAF Young Player of the Year, CAF African Goalkeeper of the Year, and CAF National Team of the Year categories will be honored.
The winners will be determined by a panel of experts, including the CAF Technical Committee, media professionals, and national team coaches and captains. The nominees for the Women’s categories will be announced soon.
